Ryan Zimmerman, Third-Baseman. The Nationals may have one of the best hot-corner players in all of baseball. He is a very productive hitter (in a pitcher's park none the less) and adds shut-down defense to his resume. Many Gold-Glove awards are forseen in his future.
Since moving to Washington D.C. the Nationals have yet to have a winning record in a season. The 2008 team looks to turn this stat category around and compete in the eastern division.
