Detroit v Colorado
Shall we write an opinion on the Detroit-Colorado rivalry? It seems that me, a Red Wings' fan, and you an Avalanche fan could put the stories of the battle's across from different perspectives. Perhaps we could also focus on the rivalry dieing out, e.g. the players that had the rivalry are now gone, e.g. Yzerman, Shanahan, Roy, Lemieux, McCarty, Tanguay, Fedorov, Blake, Foote, and really only Sakic and Osgood remain. We could each give our own accounts of, e.g. '96 Series, '97 Series, Roy's duff save, etc. What do you think? Alex Holowczak
- Ok, I'm off to bed now too, so perhaps we should write it from each persons perspective then merge the two opinions. To give contrast. So you write Colorado's view, and I write Detroit's, and perhaps a little intro, conclusion, and when it's done, either let me know, or I'll let you know, and we can work on putting it together. (You can just draft it on your user page, by linking to it) Anyways... tomorrow. Alex Holowczak
I'll fix it now..give me a couple of minutes. --Roblefko 17:07, 11 July 2006 (EST)
dont worry , all i had to do was change the year in the calendar function. it's here: NHL Scores/Schedule. the column on the right is now for the 2006-2007 months so just click on the appropriate day to input the schedule. (note hte left hand column displays the contents of the current week, it switches each day , so by the time the nhl season starts itll be displaying the right dates.
Also, im in the middle of organizing our encyclopedia articles. Here's what the nhl one looks like so far: User:Roblefko/NHLDraft. Just thought youd be interested, just to get a feel of the different sections we have, etc..
Hey, i made it so that the left hand column only shows 1 day at a time (that way we dont have to see "The Puck Drops.." 7 straight times. when the season starts, ill switch it back to weekly. --Roblefko 15:13, 12 July 2006 (EST)
- What do you mean? Where does it say the 10th? give me the link to the page, i dont know know what you mean by "main page"?
I've not done much on it, I've been very busy, but I found these on YouTube - Detroit-Colorado Rivalry. I am very busy editing lately (as it appears you are with the NHL Schedule), but if you could write all the words for the article, then I'll add the Detroit perspective to all the issues you mention. You're right! I need to fix the instructions to fit the revisions I made to the brackets - I hope it's totally clear now. The RD# field are the name for the playoff round - i.e., for baseball it would be Division Series, League Championship Series, World Series. Each RD#Team# and RD#score# matches up to itself - i.e., if Boston scored 3 points in the first-round matchup, RD1team1 might be "Boston", and RD1score1 would be 3. I hope that clears everything up.

I notice that you added all the various teams to the list for 9 (uniform number). But in the process you lost a number of names I had put in before. Could you watch what you're doing so you don't lose information if you do this to the other numbers? BRG 11:02, 28 July 2006 (EST)
- Also, while you group all other teams by franchise rather than by location, you have the current Cleveland Browns and the previous Cleveland Browns together. To be consistent with everything else you have, the previous Cleveland Browns should be grouped with the Baltimore Ravens.
- Might you consider putting the different names/locations in forward chronological order (as I did) rather than reverse chronological order?

I don't know if you saw this - Sports Quiz - Radical Overhaul Idea. Since you took part, it's only fair you have a look. Let me know what you think via the comments section on the page. Alex Holowczak 08:28, 14 August 2006 (EST)
