Biography[]

Troy Glaus (Troy Glaus) was born on August 3, 1976 in Tarzana, California. He made his Major League debut on July 31, 1998 for the Anaheim Angels. In 1998, his rookie year, he hit .218 with 1 home run and 23 RBI. Glaus played for the Anaheim Angels, Arizona Diamondbacks and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Troy Glaus's best season was 2000, when he slugged 47 home runs, hit for a .284 average and knocked in 102 runs.

Glaus was also one of the players named in baseball's Mitchell Report. His name was under the "Alleged Internet Purchase" section of the report. It was reported by Sports Illustrated in September 2004 that Glaus had been a customer of Signature Pharmacy, which was under federal investigation. The SI article went on to say that between 2003 and 2004, Glaus received the steroids nandrolene and testosterone from the pharmacy via an anti-aging clinic located in California.

Glaus refused to comment on these allegations, but he did agree to meet with investigators for the Commissioner's Office in September 2007. On December 6, 2007, it was determined by the Commissioner's Office that there was not enough evidence to warrant a suspension of Glaus.
