Biography[]

Born on July 5, 1967 in Pasadena, California, Tim Worrell (Timothy Howard Worrell) played for the San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs, Baltimore Orioles, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks over the course of his 14 year career. Worrell broke into the bigs on June 25, 1993 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 4.92 ERA in 100.2 innings pitched in 1993, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Tim Worrell's best season was 2003, when he posted a 2.87 ERA, notched 38 saves and struck out 65 batters.
