Biography[]

Born on December 23, 1968 in Springfield, Ohio, Rick White (Richard Allen White) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals, Colorado Rockies, Houston Astros, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 11 year career. White broke into the bigs on April 6, 1994 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 3.82 ERA in 75.1 innings pitched in 1994, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Rick White's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2000, when he posted a 3.52 ERA and struck out 67 batters. However, others believe that it was 1999, when he posted a 4.08 ERA and struck out 81 batters.
