The Cincinnati Reds have named Wayne Krivsky as their new general manager, replacing the recently dismissed Dan O'Brien. Krisvky, 51, spent the last eight years as Assistant GM of the Minnesota Twins. He also served as Assistant General Manager of the Texas Rangers for 14 years.

Krivsky's contract with the Reds is guaranteed for two years and includes two one-year mutual options.
