Born on June 11, 1978 in Las Matas de Farfan, San Juan (Dominican Republic), Odalis Perez (Odalis Amadol Perez) played for the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 8 year career. Perez broke into the bigs on September 1, 1998 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 6.00 ERA in 93 innings pitched in 1999, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Odalis Perez's best season was 2002, when he posted a 3.00 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 155 batters.
