Born on September 3, 1977 in Wichita, Kansas, Nate Robertson (Nathan Daniel Robertson) played for the Florida Marlins and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 5 year career. Robertson broke into the bigs on September 7, 2002 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 4.90 ERA in 196.2 innings pitched in 2004, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Nate Robertson's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2006, when he posted a 3.84 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 137 batters. However, others believe that it was 2004, when he posted a 4.90 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 155 batters.
