Biography

Mike Young (Michael Darren Young) was born on March 20, 1960 in Oakland, California. He made his Major League debut on September 14, 1982 for the Baltimore Orioles. In 1984, his rookie year, he hit .252 with 17 home runs and 52 RBI. Young played for the Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Mike Young's best season was 1985, when he slugged 28 home runs and knocked in 81 runs.
