Larry Bigbie (Larry Robert Bigbie) was born on November 4, 1977 in Hobart, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on June 23, 2001 for the Baltimore Orioles. In 2001, his rookie year, he hit .229 with 2 home runs and 11 RBI. Bigbie played for the Baltimore Orioles, Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career.
Bigbie was one of many baseball players who was named in the Mitchell Report. He admitted to purchasing and using a variety of performance-enhancing substances from Kirk Radomski from 2001 to 2005, including human growth hormone, Deca-Durabolin, Sustanon, testosterone, and anti-estrogen drugs
Most people believe that Larry Bigbie's best season was 2004, when he slugged 15 home runs, hit for a .280 average and knocked in 68 runs.
