Born on December 21, 1972 in Gary, Indiana, LaTroy Hawkins (LaTroy Hawkins) played for the Minnesota Twins, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 12 year career. Hawkins broke into the bigs on April 29, 1995 with the Minnesota Twins, and put up a 5.84 ERA in 103.1 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was LaTroy Hawkins's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2004, when he posted a 2.63 ERA, notched 25 saves and struck out 69 batters. However, others believe that it was 2003, when he posted a 1.86 ERA and struck out 75 batters.
