Biography
Johnny Estrada (Johnny Pulado Estrada) was born on June 27, 1976 in Hayward, California. He made his Major League debut on May 15, 2001 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 2001, his rookie year, he hit .228 with 8 home runs and 37 RBI. Estrada has played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Atlanta Braves and Arizona Diamondbacks over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that Johnny Estrada's best season was 2004, when he hit for a .314 average and knocked in 76 runs.
In 2007, the New York Mets traded for Johnny Estrada, shipping relief-pitcher Guillermo Mota to the Brewers for Estrada.
