Born on November 22, 1974 in Houston, Texas, Joe Nathan (Joseph Michael Nathan) played for the San Francisco Giants and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 7 year career. Nathan broke into the bigs on April 21, 1999 with the San Francisco Giants, and put up a 4.18 ERA in 90.1 innings pitched in 1999, his rookie year.
