Born on April 20, 1964 in Dallas, Texas, Jimmy Jones (James Condia Jones) played for the San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, Houston Astros and Montreal Expos over the course of his 8 year career. Jones broke into the bigs on September 21, 1986 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 4.14 ERA in 145.2 innings pitched in 1987, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jimmy Jones's best season was 1992, when he posted a 4.07 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 69 batters.
