Biography

Jeromy Burnitz (Jeromy Neal Burnitz) was born on April 15, 1969 in Westminster, California. He made his Major League debut on June 21, 1993 for the New York Mets. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .243 with 13 home runs and 38 RBI. Burnitz played for the New York Mets, Cleveland Indians, Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 14 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Jeromy Burnitz's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1998, when he slugged 38 home runs and knocked in 125 runs. However, others believe that it was 1997, when he slugged 27 home runs, hit for a .281 average and knocked in 85 runs.
