Jeff Reed (Jeffrey Montgomery Reed) was born on April 9, 1979 in Kansas City, Missouri. After going to high school at East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), Reed attended the University of North Carolina. Reed made his professional debut in the NFL in 2002 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 2005 was Jeff Reed's best year, as he made 24 field goals.
