Jason LaRue (Michael Jason LaRue) was born on March 19, 1974 in Houston, Texas. He made his Major League debut on June 15, 1999 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 2001, his rookie year, he hit .236 with 12 home runs and 43 RBI. LaRue played for the Cincinnati Reds for his entire 8 year career.
There is some disagreement on what was Jason LaRue's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2004, when he knocked in 55 runs. However, others believe that it was 2003, when he slugged 16 home runs and knocked in 50 runs.
