Biography[]

Born on November 18, 1962 in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, Jamie Moyer (Jamie Moyer) played for the Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 20 year career. Moyer broke into the bigs on June 16, 1986 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 5.05 ERA in 87.1 innings pitched in 1986, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Jamie Moyer's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2003, when he posted a 3.27 ERA, won 21 games and struck out 129 batters. However, others believe that it was 1998, when he posted a 3.53 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 158 batters.
