Biography
Born on September 29, 1977 in Athens, Georgia, Jake Westbrook (Jacob Cauthen Westbrook) played for the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 7 year career. Westbrook broke into the bigs on June 17, 2000 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 5.85 ERA in 64.2 innings pitched in 2001, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Jake Westbrook's best season was 2004, when he posted a 3.38 ERA, won 14 games and struck out 116 batters.
