Born on February 22, 1977 in Trenton, Michigan, J.J. Putz (Joseph Jason Putz) played for the Seattle Mariners for his entire 4 year career. Putz broke into the bigs on August 11, 2003 with the Seattle Mariners, and put up a 4.71 ERA in 63 innings pitched in 2004, his rookie year.
