Frank Catalanotto (Frank John Catalanotto) was born on April 27, 1974 in Smithtown, New York. He made his Major League debut on September 3, 1997 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1998, his rookie year, he hit .282 with 6 home runs and 25 RBI. Catalanotto played for the Detroit Tigers, Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 11 year career.
There is some disagreement on what was Frank Catalanotto's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2003, when he hit for a .299 average and knocked in 59 runs. However, others believe that it was 2001, when he hit for a .330 average and knocked in 54 runs.
