Biography[]

Born on December 21, 1972 in Springfield, Ohio, Dustin Hermanson (Dustin Michael Hermanson) played for the San Diego Padres, Montreal Expos, St. Louis Cardinals, Boston Red Sox, San Francisco Giants and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 12 year career. Hermanson broke into the bigs on May 8, 1995 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 3.69 ERA in 158.1 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Dustin Hermanson's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2005, when he posted a 2.04 ERA and notched 34 saves. However, others believe that it was 1998, when he posted a 3.13 ERA, won 14 games and struck out 154 batters.
