Free agent outfielder Jeff DaVanon has agreed to terms with the Arizona Diamondbacks on a one-year, $525,000 contract with a conditional player option for 2007. The option year vests with 90 active days spent on the major league roster.
DaVanon, 32, a late-blooming fourth outfielder, spent the first six years of his major league career with the Los Angeles Angels.
