Born on April 19, 1977 in Higuera de Zaragoza, Sinaloa (Mexico), Dennys Reyes (Dennys (Valarde) Reyes) played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks, Kansas City Royals, San Diego Padres and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 10 year career. Reyes broke into the bigs on July 13, 1997 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and put up a 4.54 ERA in 67.1 innings pitched in 1998, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Dennys Reyes's best season was 2006, when he posted a .89 ERA.
