There is some disagreement on what was Damion Easley's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1998, when he slugged 27 home runs and knocked in 100 runs. However, others believe that it was 1997, when he slugged 22 home runs, stole 28 bases and knocked in 72 runs.

At the end of the 2007 regular season, Easley held the unwelcome record among active players as the one who had played the most games without reaching the postseason (1,593 games).
