Dale Alexander (David Dale Alexander) was born on April 26, 1903 in Greeneville, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1929 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1929, his rookie year, he hit .343 with 25 home runs and 137 RBI. Alexander played for the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 5 year career.
