Charlie Abbey (Charles S. Abbey) was born on October 14, 1866 in Falls City, Nebraska. He made his Major League debut on August 16, 1893 for the Washington Senators. In 1894, his rookie year, he hit .314 with 7 home runs and 101 RBI. Abbey played for the Washington Senators for his entire 5 year career.
