Born on September 14, 1974 in Jackson, Mississippi, Chad Bradford (Chadwick Lee Bradford) played for the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox and New York Mets over the course of his 9 year career. Bradford broke into the bigs on August 1, 1998 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 3.11 ERA in 75.1 innings pitched in 2002, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Chad Bradford's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2003, when he posted a 3.04 ERA and struck out 62 batters. However, others believe that it was 2002, when he posted a 3.11 ERA and struck out 56 batters.
