Born on December 3, 1971 in Rockingham, North Carolina, Brian Moehler (Brian Merritt Moehler) played for the Detroit Tigers, Cincinnati Reds, Houston Astros and Florida Marlins over the course of his 10 year career. Moehler broke into the bigs on September 22, 1996 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 4.67 ERA in 175.1 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Brian Moehler's best season was 1998, when he posted a 3.90 ERA, won 14 games and struck out 123 batters.
