Biography[]

Born on April 7, 1973 in Cleveland, Ohio, Brett Tomko (Brett Daniel Tomko) played for the Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Mariners, San Diego Padres, St. Louis Cardinals, San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 10 year career. Tomko broke into the bigs on May 27, 1997 with the Cincinnati Reds, and put up a 3.43 ERA in 126 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Brett Tomko's best season was 1998, when he posted a 4.44 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 162 batters.
