The Arizona Diamondbacks scored 7 runs in the second inning and Brandon Webb went 8 innings allowing only 1 run as they beat the Cincinnati Reds 7-1 on Friday night. Webb has quietly became one of the best pitchers in the NL and is now 5-0 with a 2.05 ERA in 52.2 IP this season. He's a big part of the D'Backs success this year as their 6th win was enough to keep them atop the NL west in a tie with the Colorado Rockies with a 17-13 record.

The second inning scoring all started on a throwing error by Ryan Freel, one of 3 Reds errors in the game. Elizardo Ramirez was unable to get things under control after that. He went only 4 innings in the game for the loss and allowed all 7 of those runs, but only 4 were earned.
