Biography[]

Born on December 23, 1976 in Sacramento, California, Brad Lidge (Bradley Thomas Lidge) played for the Houston Astros for his entire 5 year career. Lidge broke into the bigs on April 26, 2002 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 3.60 ERA in 85 innings pitched in 2003, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Brad Lidge's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2005, when he posted a 2.29 ERA, notched 42 saves and struck out 103 batters. However, others believe that it was 2004, when he posted a 1.90 ERA, notched 29 saves and struck out 157 batters.
