Born on August 4, 1973 in Phoenix, Arizona, Bob Howry (Bobby Dean Howry) played for the Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 9 year career. Howry broke into the bigs on June 21, 1998 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 3.15 ERA in 54.1 innings pitched in 1998, his rookie year.
