Bob Addis (Robert Gordon Addis) was born on November 6, 1925 in Mineral, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1950 for the Boston Braves. In 1951, his rookie year, he hit .276 with 1 home run and 24 RBI. Addis played for the Boston Braves and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 4 year career.
