It appears that the two teams that met in the 2007 NCAA Basketball championship game will not face each other. And the Buckeyes of Ohio State couldn't be happier. It will be a Big Ten/Atlantic 10 match up Thursday night in one of America's most know basketball arenas, Madison Square Garden when the Buckeyes take on Massachusetts at 9 pm on ESPN.
The Buckeyes avoided meeting the school that beat them in football and basketball in the same academic year by beating Mississippi 81-69 to reach the championship game. Evan Turner and Jamar Butler of Ohio State led all scorers with 17 points.
