Biography[]

Alex Gonzalez (Alexander Scott Gonzalez) was born on April 8, 1973 in Miami, Florida. He made his Major League debut on April 4, 1994 for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 1995, his rookie year, he hit .243 with 10 home runs and 42 RBI. Gonzalez played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, Montreal Expos, Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Alex Gonzalez's best season was 2001, when he slugged 17 home runs and knocked in 76 runs.
