The 1958 World Series matched the defending champion Milwaukee Braves against the New York Yankees, in a rematch of the 1957 Series. The Yankees won the Series in 7 games for their 18th title, and their seventh in ten years, with that victory, the Yankees became only the 2nd team in Major League Baseball to came back from a 3-1 deficit to win the World Series.
